While it may not have originally taken the name "Asolo" the company began as a family-owned and operated business started by the Zanatta family out of Italy in the year 1946. A small operation that had its roots seated in a tiny shop, started out with a family that was passionate about footwear and foot comfort since the beginning. In the year 1998, however, Asolo began to morph into what most of us recognize it as today whenever Ambrosiano Zanatta's sons bought the Asolo brand and carried on their relative's tradition of high quality footwear.
